I was reminded recently about the beautiful thread that's connected generations of people across our history--our desire to tell stories, connect with others, and capture the human experience in tangible ways we can share with those around us. This illustration is my homage to that, to the ancestors who answered the call of the universe and first put their handprints on the walls of caves to prove they existed at all, and to bring to life their observation of the world around them
