Ahhh this is so old I may have to make a new one xD My coloring has improved a lot since I did this, so I have a somewhat of a different method now.

I tried doing pink sking (Eric is apparently burned XD) and it looks weird. How am I supposed to give a guy shinies when his eyes and things are not visible? (see lineart on profile for example)

Oh, you don't have to give them shinies xD That's just how I do it~
It's all up to preference. :3

yes, I'm looking for it (not at the moment, though) lqtm
I was just about to go to the site, but my father said he'll check some of his disks (as many of my programs somehow end up with his)

Awesome, but I have a question! When you do the shadeing, do you start with the lightest shade first, then add the darker shades on top of that?

Oh, yes!
I've never seen it done the other way around xD
And it's all on the same layer as well~

Really? I've done it backwards before. It was interesting...
I use Adobe Photoshop 7, is that the same one you use? And if so, what is the transparent pixle thing you were talking about?

I've thought about doing it
Sounds hard though xD
Oh, I use photoshop CS3 D: I dunno if 7 will have it...
It's on the layers box, so maybe look around there?
You could give me a screenshot of 7 and I can see if I can help you. :)
