Just some throw away stuff. I realize it’s been a while, but I just haven’t had the motivation to get anything really done. I’ve just been swamped with schoolwork and sad feelings and yadda yadda art is hard.
However, I have started to keep a small journal - I’ll do little sketches in class, or stuff that comes to me while I’m walking around. I might post scrap pages here, somehow?
I just wanted to post *something*, ya know? Get something out there. So, here’s some stuff I did while I was bored.

From left to right, I tried shading identical spheres with a technique known as cross-hatching or cross-stitching, in the middle I lowered the opacity on my eraser and slowly worked away at a fully-colored sphere, and for the last sphere, I tried the opposite approach to the middle, using slowly lightening shades of color versus erasing the sphere away.
