very nice! a fellow canon'er.. these macro photos are really cool. im getting a 50mm for christmas.. maybe ill give some bug shots a try!

No camera like a Canon Thanks for the compliment and have fun with that 50. Shooting bugs is addicting although i think my interest in it has cooled down a bit.

It's not really about the camera or the lens i use You can pretty much get this kind results with any reverset wide-angle lens. I used 5D Mark II and Canon's MP-E 65mm macro lens with a DIY diffused MT-24EX flash.
