Yes. As a note I edited this original concept art a long while ago. The whole thing is not mine. And will probably be released after the film.

Film is scheduled in 2009 if all goes well.

Snow Crash could be done right, and make a FANTASTIC movie! The real world could be live action and the Metaverse computer animated, with different animations for different people's avatars. As for Neuromancer, I really hope they don't mess up Molly or leave out The Finn.

Yeah, I cant wait for the film.
From what I have seen of the official concept art they got it very well covered. Just like I imagined.

Snow Crash would be really tough to make into a 2 hour film... they would probably cut out half the book (the historical half) and that imo would ruin it. Perhaps a TV series would be better. But they would have to have a movie sized budget in order to get it well done...

Oh well, someday I hope we would just get 'the street'.

That would be cool! I don't know though, I think Snow Crash could make a 2-hour movie, they'd just have to simplify some things. A lot of the book is describing things that would take much less time to show in a movie. The whole legand of Ianna and such, they might have to skip most of the details and just tell the basic story line and important parts, but I think they could do it. My main fear for a Snow Crash film would be bad CGI rat-things and bad casting.

But the Neuromancer movie sounds like they're getting things right so far. Hayden Christensen should be fine playing Case. (The Star Wars bad acting was mostly the director's fault, it seems.)

Yeah, to tell the truth I don't even care if its bad, its snow crash!
It cant be horrible.

And I agree about Neuromancer.
Cant wait to see how they create that world.

Fan art, and that is a partially existing concept art drawing by a professional.
I mostly do touchups and lighting.
