Description
Way back when, Wizard was holding a contest along with Top Cow, where fans could draw their favorite Top Cow characters, and win something. I don't remember what it is anymore, but it must have been something cool, because I don't participate in a lot of contests.This is an older one, from 2000 I think.

Thanks, I have some great reference books on wings, though I'm usually too lazy to dig them out and deadlines don't usually offer the time to sit around and look for the perfect wing, so most of this was done from imagination and memory.

Leathery wings are cool. I've done more than my share of such images. It's good to be able to do both, though, because you never know when it might come in handy. Black feathered wings can look as menacing as bat wings.

I just can't seem to get the feathers to work for me most of the time though...mmm...should probably practice more...that may help out
