Yeah, it was for a manga comic, from the POV of an orc child. They don't know they're ugly... anyway, her village gets wiped out by a group of humans ordered to build six farms and a barracks in order to achieve a goal and move on to the next level. She was the only survivor, and was raised by worgs.

I think that´s better look this matter by other point of view. The people talk about her wonder her,and do greetings to her when she walk by streets?If the answer is "yes",she´s a good legend. However,if everyone hate her,and she have lots of bounty hunters on her back,she´s a bad one!

Well, I'm sure the orcs don't see her as evil. They see her as great. The humans probably see her as evil, though. So I suppose it depends on if you were born a human or born an orc, since they don't seem to get along.

Thanks - I thought she looked a lot more Manga than the stuff they ended up publishing, but then again, what the heck do I know? I make pennies and WoW makes millions, so they must know what they're talking about.

Yeah! I thought so, too. I've seen those TokyoPop WoW comics, and I have no idea why they turned it down. Many of them have terrible Manga styles that are so obviously American. Yes, I'm american, but I respect the traditional manga look and style.

Chris: Well I am not the same opinion as you. I think every drawer have to draw his own style, or not? That makes the one special.
And the wow comics is not in the manga style, but in the manwah style, which is a little bit different from the japanese manga.

True, but TokyoPop doesn't publish much manwah, and when they told me about the job they were very specific about wanting manga. Their main artist is definitely manwah, but for the anthology book they wanted manga.

Thanks - I was doing it for a story pitch through TokyoPop's WoW anthology series. Things were looking really good, Blizzard approved me as an artist, but then they changed their mind and cut me after stringing me along for months. It's too bad, I used to like Blizzard.

Yeah, orcs are outnumbered by night elves by about 10,000 to 1. You can't roll out of bed without landing on a night elf. Hm. Maybe that's just me.

Yeah, I had a whole lot of fun creating her, just wish more people liked it, and I really wish Blizzard had liked it. Oh well. I'm not all that big on Warcraft anymore myself.
