I met the creators of Zen at a convention in Los Angeles back when I was living out there, and became friends. I even helped them work their booth at the San Diego Comic-con one year, and they printed up posters with this image on it for promotion.Related content

Its actually a part-2. Zen: Alien Vs. Demon Part Two. Cliff hanger as well, so I would expect a part-3.

One of my favorite NES game characters illustrated by one of my favorite artists. No one I know has ever heard of Zen, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this in your gallery. I love your work.

Zen is making a comeback, and I might be illustrating an issue. I know the creators, and if I have the time and they have the funds, we'll put something together soon.

*VERY late reply*(lol)that is so awesome! I hope everything comes together and you get the opportunity to work on the comic. It only makes sense that Zen would make a comeback, considering all the classic games being reinvented, not to mention the "environmentally green" story line, maybe Exxon mobile will be the villains base of operations lol.[link]

I think something is happening with Zen, but I'm not sure. They may have found an artist to take care of their story. I haven't heard from those guys in quite a while...

Did you ever see the Zen comics? They came out some time in the 90's and had a brief relaunch in the early 00's.

Just Google it and you'll find a lot of stuff about it. The creators are pretty cool people. (I should probably contact them, haven't spoken with them in awhile.)
