Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful photograph. I was initially drawn to the hues of the shot giving the solitary rock an almost magical quality. It's one of those "Stand Alone" shots that make you go "Wow must taking a better look at that one". The sheer simplicity of the shot is what makes it so great. You are absolutely correct in what you say, sometimes the world gives us a gift and you were very lucky to be there at this special time.

I was having one of those days where I just set off for a drive heading nowhere in particular. Two hours later and some 170 miles away from home I found myself on the beach.
It started to rain, the wind was blowing and the tide was coming in fast.
