Description

Gliding out from the doorway was an elegant and slender, maybe eight feet tall, white-furred monster dressed in a long black ragged robe- with a familiar rune displayed on the chest.
His wispy ripped-up collar flaring behind his head, with long thin floppy ears that reached past his shoulders and great wavy thin sharp horns that slicked backward that pointed upward in the back, and had a dramatic fringe of hair that swooped out from his forehead.

Once he saw them and their eyes connected, he stopped in place, a distinct smile forming on his long goat muzzle, showing off his many fangs.

But the very first thing Frisk noticed and couldn’t look away from- was the monster’s eyes, it was like something straight from out of a horror sci-fi movie, his sclera was alarmingly pitch black, while the iris was a striking crimson red, and the pupils…were diamond-shaped, much like a cat’s or snake’s.
Underneath his eyes, was a symmetrical thin black patch of fur in the shape of a waning crescent.
“For someone who has come to subdue me and had all the time in the world to prepare, you have made a huge mistake in not bringing a weapon,” he spoke, it was clear he was the owner of the same husky voice they had heard in the diner.

Frisk had finally found the great Monster in the Mountain.

A reiteration of a previous game sprite of Asriel Dreemurr I made. The design is based upon artistic and written descriptions given in the Undertale fanfiction Monster In The Mountain by .

Redesign Changes:
-An increase in height
-Horns curl back instead of to the side
-Locket is not present due to unspecified reasons
-Pauldrons are replaced with a collar that flares out the back like a flame
-Robes are now all-black and ragged at the ends
-Eyes now have red irises with black pupils instead of only red pupils
-Cheek marks replaced with crescent marks below the eyes
-Though not pictured in the reference images, the Delta Rune is present in-story
-1000% increase in edginess

Changes from previous version:
-The Delta Rune outline was removed, per www.deviantart.com/twix015/art… . The Delta Rune wings have been given feather-like details.
-Robe redesigned to better reflect Asriel's new body proportions
--A further increase in height
--An outline the torso section of the robe to distinguish from the sleeves
--Increased shoulder height; to make it less obvious that Asriel can freely detach his head
-Wrinkles were added to the sleeves
-Edges for the bottom of the robe have been modified
