Description
The original combat Knightmare Frame built by the Holy Britannian Empire. Allowing for a more versatile combat method, the Glasgow was actively used in the Invasion of Japan, seeing it's trial by fire. Being the first to reach mass-production, however, meant that the Glasgow suffered many glitches and flaws, mostly malfunctions due to flaws in the advanced systems, leading to sudden failures.
By the time of the Black Rebellion, the Glasgow had been largely phased out in favor of the more reliable and modern RPI-13 Sutherland and the RMI-U13 Portman. The Glasgow was so quickly phased out, however, that many of the existing models were mothballed haphazardly, allowing paramilitary and resistance groups to steal or buy many of them.
Thanks to this, the Glasgow saw a resurgence in the armies of those who fought against Britannia, as the design was copied and upgraded to match the Sutherland in combat. The most notable of these knock-offs was the Japan model, dubbed Burai. The Burai would be known far and wide as the main model of the many resistance movements across Japan, especially the Black Knights.
