lol Yesss, you don't find enough BruxCas fans. We had a ten panel cartoon of Julius Caesar for Englsh but I turned it into a 50 page shounen-ai manga >.> So when my teacher gives it back I was going to remake it until something better than just chibis. Dunno when I'll get it back though. Its under a huge pile. And YES it makes SO much sense they were gay. There were tooooo many scenes of them showing affection...in fact, I think almost all of them are XD Luckily, my teacher agreed so she didn't care about the shounen-ai. She just thought I went overboard with the fifty pages lol

i know what you mean about the dire dearth of fans. how can it be? because 'I cannot drink too much of Brutus' love' isn't suggestive at ALL... forget how when talking to cassius brutus refers to himself as 'your brutus'.
my friend and i are attempting to record several scenes, but some of the lines are IMPOSSIBLE to say with a straight face and/or mind.

It is VERY hard to say those things with a straight face like you said o.O My favorite scene in Julius Caesar is probably the tent scene. XD When Cassius and Brutus quarrel then blame Cassius's mom for his bad temper and they make up...Its amazing

in the BBC's version of Julius Caesar, they actually start, like, throwing things at each other. Cassius picks a chair up over his head at one point. Then at his 'come Antony and young Octavius, come' drama queen bit, Cassius goes screaming out of the tent and Brutus has to forcibly DRAG him back inside. you know they can't just be fighting over money - i mean, near the end, Brutus cups his hand under Cassius' chin...it's adorable.

eeek, i scoured youtube and can't find any clips. i downloaded the entire movie from a bittorrent, but i have no idea how to go about cutting it into 10-minute chunks to post it on youtube myself.
be warned, though - my mental cassius is smoking hot, and the bbc cassius definitely does not fit that bill. nor does brutus, really. but the fact that they make that scene slashy as hell kinda compensates

lol That's cool. I haven't really seen a JC movie with good Bru and Cas characters...I always think of them as pretty boys XD I think the JC real manga butchered their appearances though. Brutus looked super old and Cassius looked like an axe murderer. I need to see the sceeeene. Is Bittorent like Youtube?

we were doing some activity in english and my teacher wanted us to explain how we 'visualized' Brutus and Cassius, so i raised my hand and said "one word: bishounen" and nobody understoood
i never knew there was a professional manga for Julius Caesar. too bad they did a sucky job.
i scoured youtube, and as far as i can tell there's nothing on there. a torrent is something you download, kinda like illegal music pirating. if you want to try and download the movie, first get a program like utorrent (utorrent.com and follow the directions) then google up what you want to download and 'torrent', download, and viola!
i finally figured out how to cut the scenes, but youtube takes foreverrr to load on my computer. i tried for two hours, and then i tried to upload the videos to google, and then my internet broke so i gave up.
ahhh i shall try again.

YES yes look up the torrent thing! stuff might take longer depending on how many people are 'seeding', but it's completely worth it; you can even download ENTIRE discographies! i downloaded pink floyd's in a week.

Most of my friends know since we are all otaku but there's a few of them that don't knoooow. XD Yes, Brutus does fit the emo style. I just never could picture him as a balding old guy like in all the movies. I did like younger Brutus in the 2003 julius caesar movie even if he had cooler hair. But they always always always destroy cassius.

my friend and i sit in the back of science class writing fanfiction for eachother and swapping to read it, and whenever someone sitting next to us gets curious things can get messy...
and i know, i have NEVER seen even an okay cassius, even when a halfway decent brutus is cast. one of the brutus' i thought was alright was james mason's, from the 1950's version. never watched the 2003 version, though.
there's a production of JC in ny in a few months, which my parents might let me go to. so i shall hope.

There's a 2009 play in new york during may...can't go sadly lol I live on the west coast XD and they're releasing the CHINESE MOVIE THIS YEAR! That sounds fun... Haha, yesterday my friend and i were joking bout antony and i made a pin up of him and some people in the class saw it and one of them yelled "HE HAS NO NIPPLES" and then the class got quiet......lol
