Reblog me on Tumblr!: [link]For Percy, I wanted him to be a bit more built than Nico but at the same time not too ripped cause that would be scary. I based it off the idea of a swimmer's physique (appropriate), lean but still with muscle. I'm not sure why I gave him such popeye-esque arms though. Maybe it's cause I needed a way to make his silhouette recognizable like Nico's was. It was hard to do so with his clothes since they're so standard.
I also put some wave designs on his shoes cause son of the sea god and all of that. AND it's my head cannon that Percy's got big feet... I put way more thought into his design that Nico's I think but whatever he's the main guy he deserves it.

When I see designs like to makes me think they should make a Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus T.V. series.

I'm all for it! I think the movies should have been animated all along. The nature of the story and all the action that happens would make such for such good animation. But I feel like they just wanted to compete with other book to live-action movie adaptations like Harry Potter. Obviously it didn't turn out well.
