OH DEAR GOD LAWDIE THIS TOOK FOREVERRRRRR AND 40+ LAYERS!!! >< AUUUGH!!!! (36 when finished, but i merged a lot)Oh god..... wow. this was worth it, though. TT~TT i'm, soooo not used to colorful things. i used EVERY color. TT~TT
and also, i HATE drawing the eyes when hair's covering them, but Auburnet as a teen... well, he's the only character i have with hair like that. It was kinda fun to color him like that ^^
i have NO idea what's going on with the outlet/oil lamp thingies. just don't ask.

I love the soft colors you used to set a specific tone. It definitely makes it feel like a dream, especially with the use of the giant plug and lightbulb to show that it isn't reality.

I must say jealousy is a BITCH!! don't listen to that comment, this is a very good piece, ok so you stated that the anatomy is off!!! Do actually think all those professional works have good anatomy? NO!!! The amount of layers you used shows how much precision you took of this picture, yes some drawings don't need many layers and all, but if it took you 36 layers to make this picture the best it can be than so be it!!!! This Hater doesn't know how much harder things get when you have more layers. The layers are there for organization and sometimes experimenting. Fact is this is your best piece yet, because we artists always improve our skills even when we don't seem to notice. So keep working hard on your pictures im proud of you. Dust off the hate on your canvas and keep painting!!!!

I've noticed this piece of trash somehow wound up in my inbox. To be honest. Its not that good, you're full of yourself. Layers dont mean anything dear. The more you use =/= better artist. If you could do this on one layer, all of it. We may be talking about something remarkable. But anyways, the leg going into the water is weird looking. His shoulders are tilted in a nearly impossible way. And over all, this is just shit. Get down off your pedestal

Thank you for taking the time to type out all of your thoughts. and yes, if i had done this in one layer, it would have been amazing. i wasn't using the layer number as a comparison to how good i am, but how hard and long i worked on it. and yes, i know the anatomy is off, i was doing it by memory from something, and not looking at any reference for help, and I'm not perfect with anatomy anyway. I'm not full of myself, but i just keep the negative thoughts about my works private and changing them into goals to improve, knowing that i have to work on it more.
And yes, in all actuality, this work isn't all that good in it's own ways. but so is every thing I do. I am aware I'm not the best artist in the world.
Thank you for your wonderful input, i look forward to any comments i get in hope of improving. and also, if you consider this trash, recycle it instead of throwing it out, because recycling is just nicer.
