I already ran out of fuck to give today so, whatever. To be honest, most people who aren't as flawless are you are portraying yourself to be, wouldn't know the easy methods. I would have said that same answer, honestly and not because I'm a sadistic asshole that loves to inflict pain on people, it's because I don't spend hours learning about digital art tips.

Read the book before you judge.

WELL if you think its so funny to keep arguing, I'll continue~
how about this?
I didnt fucking ASK him! my question was directly pointed to the artist, and why the fuck would he answer then?
Why answer if you dont even know the answer?

Now before jumping into someone else's convos maybe READ them first.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

bdg222 In reply to CooI [2013-11-13 20:06:28 +0000 UTC]

"I didn't [] ASK him!"
Why is that relevant? Suppose the artist was not going to answer your question, and someone in fact did know the answer. If they gave you the 'correct' answer, which Poke did, would you still complain?

"My question was directed [at] the artist, and why [] would he answer then?"
The kindness of their heart, willing to spare some of their own time to answer your simple question. If your question was purely and absolutely for the artist, why did you comment in public, where strangers could answer, and not ask via note? If the answer was actually rude or dumb, why isn't that your sole argument, why do you need such excuses?

"Why answer if you don't even know the answer"
He/She did know an answer. There isn't just a single way to have done it. Are you going to claim that using a new layer under the image, copying colors, and creating squares out of them would not have created pretty much the same result?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CooI In reply to bdg222 [2013-11-13 20:44:32 +0000 UTC]

He didnt answer correctly. I asked how those pixels were made. Putting squares down is obvious and it doesnt explain how it was done.

Spare time? Take three seconds to write something obvious? I dont know if he wrote it of kindness or just to piss me off, either way this is none of your business. And besides, he answered me after the artist answered me. Which makes him look stupid..

Yes it would make the same result, but what he fucking said doesn't explain it at all. Now I shall kindla ask you to step aside, because this is none of your business as I said.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

bdg222 In reply to CooI [2013-11-13 21:15:38 +0000 UTC]

*First sentence*
So, given that's how I would do, and I would program in Python to do such an effect, how is he wrong? It doesn't warrant explanation as it is an explanation itself since, as you said, "[it] is obvious".

*Second sentence*
If it was obvious, why did you ask? How did you not understand something obvious, it's just putting squares down.

You put it in a public forum, you're bullying an individual for giving you the correct answer, it's everyone business now. What is in private is private, but what is public is public, obvious no?
Why am I concerned if he answered 'after' the artist? He actually answered at practically the same time, he was only 9 seconds later. How does that make him look stupid?

Also, you asserted "he/she wasnt being nice, just a smart as[s] sarcastically giving a non-helpful answer."... so do you know or not know if he was being kind or trying to piss you off?

*Third sentence*
It was 'none of your business' to attack an individual. You just agreed it would get the same result, and it perfectly explained to myself how to do it. You put colored squares down. You clearly know how to make a square, and I assume you're capable of filling in it, and you know how layers work:  cooi.deviantart.com/art/Twiste… You had perfectly fine knowledge on how to do it, as you said, it's obvious, so why are you here being quite rude to an individual.
(Also, you asserted he didn't answer correctly, but "Yes it would make the same result" meaning it's a correct answer.)

CooI In reply to bdg222 [2013-11-13 21:26:51 +0000 UTC]

im not going to write you a book back. So I'll just say this.
I asked how it was done, an explanation. I know you put squares down. But how. which tools. program and so on. That was my fucking question.
The artist answered me. I'm satisfied. And no he didnt answer me correctly. I'm sticking with my opinion. And I'm done with your bullshit. I'm going through stuff now and am easily aggravated right now. So stop messing with me. I never asked to talk to you.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

bdg222 In reply to CooI [2013-11-13 21:40:46 +0000 UTC]

Actually, no, you didn't ask which tools and programs [and so on], your question was: "how did [you] make those pixel things? C:" You asked for the method, did Poke not respond with a method? You didn't ask for anything else but the method. That was [your] question.

We're quite unconcerned if you're "satisfied" with the artist's response, we're "unsatisfied" with your response to us, so therefore we shall continue until you explain why you harassed him and think it was okay in a sound and valid narrative. We've explained why he was right and you were wrong, therefore the next step on your side is to either provide more reasoning or to prove a contradiction in our case. It was completely irrelevant what your opinion is, if your opinion to a police officer for murder was "''oh mr police i just killed him for no reason, it doesnt matter", you'd still be going to jail. It doesn't work in an argument nor debate. You argue facts and knowledge, not opinions and personal tastes. Opinion is irrelevant, your actions and words are relevant.

If my words are bullshit, why are you incapable of refuting them? If they're bullshit, the reason they are wrong must be obvious, no?

Also, if you're so easily aggravated, why do you continue responding? I deal with my own severe emotional problems, but you don't see me cursing and going crazy, and yet, neither are you. You've yet to see me pull that card though, so what's your excuse?

And to be honest I don't care that he said something right or wrong or even if the question wasn't directed to him. He did what he did because he felt like it. Ain't gotz to have a reason.

'Cool' is incapable of reasoning for herself kindly and orderly in this situation, as she put it herself, she finds it boring (and yet finds it funny...). Even though she's bothered by 'us' 'not leaving her alone', she finds no issue nor reason for it to not be okay for her to do the same to us.

She even banned me from her page since she was incapable of reasoning her way out of her own mess. haaha.

You feeling alright btw? You seem upset, and you don't need to over this quite rude person.

Hahaha! I'm fine. I learned to not get mad in these kind of situations, so when I sound angry I generally just change my sentences to look that way.

I was blocked as well, but I don't really care. I don't have any fucks to give and at the same time, blocks are really dumb. Can't block people in real life so why do it in the internet world? It only shows are weak people are.

But yeah, I'm alright.

bdg222 In reply to CooI [2013-11-13 21:25:52 +0000 UTC]

"There needs to be reasons for things you know"

No, actually. Axioms don't need reasons to be true, they're axioms, they require no further explanation. The only thing required of them is consistency. Otherwise you'd get infinite regression.

Also, how does the issue of you harassing Poke have anything to do with murder? I would think murder would be a crime against morality, rights, and the law, and therefore requires legal defense and reasons, but answering a simple question with a simple answer warrants none of this.

Out of curiosity, why couldn't you have asked to Poke "How do I put the squares down?" or even "How do I do that?" If you are having a hard time, stop making it hard for others and maybe they would not be upset.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CooI In reply to bdg222 [2013-11-13 21:32:45 +0000 UTC]

The murder was an example. to prove why there needs to be reasons for things.
I didn't ask him cuz I already had a fucking answer.
Now leave me alone.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

bdg222 In reply to CooI [2013-11-13 21:47:49 +0000 UTC]

And I explained why it was a bad example, they are unrelated.

Also, I disproved your 'proof' that there needs to be reasons for things by bringing up Axioms, which are unexplained statement that are assumed true without question or reasons. (Heck, if you want to go further, a mathematician named Kurt Gödel even proved there are statements that are definitely true in logic but can't be proven no matter how hard you try, so there is not reasons for everything)

Also, no, you didn't have [an] answer when you responded to him at 8:52, since Riku didn't give you the answer until 8:58. Heck, even Riku's first answer, which you admitted you couldn't use, you didn't respond to until after you answered Poke.

Well there is still a way. First you save your finished drawing, then change the image size to a very small size ( for example 20 x 10 pixel ), then copy it to the original size drawing and scale it up
