As someone who works with anthropomorphic mink and hyenas - the latter who are not only born with teeth but who frequently kill their littermates moments after birth just for the hell of it - can sort of imagine it...

Yeah, "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" was way more cartoonish and comical especially considering the gang were kids. I thought "Mystery Incorporated" was a pretty good show given how the gang was given more personality, quirks and interests such as Velma's sassy and sarcastic persona. I also liked how they made many episodes seem suspenseful and tied to one big mystery.
