Good progress made on the materials today. I've created a custom material that accepts 3 base colors, an overlay as well as glossy and metallic, all driven by masks. I think its cool and provides a lot of flexibility/variety without having to resort to creating loads of surfaces. The example on the left is using all 3 colors (2 for the body and 1 for the little logo), with the diffuse overlay driving the stitching and a little bit of metallic. The right is just using 2 of the color channels. No textures just masks...
