After a while, Ami notices that her keys left some scratch marks on her new keychain...

A.) Ami puts her keychain on her bag instead.
Not out of concern for her former classmate, of course.
The transformation spell she bought, however, wasn't cheap. So Ami intends to get her money's worth by keeping her collectible, reasonably intact.
After Ami graduates, she stores her bag in her attic along with her other school supplies, until...
