We had a project over at Druvdalen ([link] ) where a bunch of us decided to draw art for a calendar. I got September.
Later, a couple of people decided to drop off so I had to do August too.Anyway, the month was September, and I thought about what was so special about September. Well, for one, school is back, and the leaves on the trees start to fall. So this is what I decided to focus on.
Sadly, I was so stressed the last seven weeks because of the internship, so I didn't spend as much time as I could have on this. And I also had to do August.
The ponies are Baby Count-a-lot and Baby Alphabet and that's the school house playset in the background.

This is so cute! I love how everything is school-themed, even the ponies. ^^
Where I live, the kids actually go back to school in August, and get out in early June, because we have hurricanes that push the school year back, but I think Sept is great for school!

Yeah the school starts in August here too. But I somehow thought it would fit well with September, since that is the first true autumn month where the leaves are just starting to change colors. And to me, autumn was always associated with school.

Haha, that's funny - for whatever reason, I didn't expect for school to start at the same time there. ^^ Oh, but in New York, school DOES start in September: they start it after Labor Day (a holiday here) because they think it's stupid to have a day off in the second week of school. So we'll say they're New York ponies! :]
