(yeah, I had no idea what to name this...)I drew this many weeks ago, but couldn't decide on a background. So after leaving it for a couple of weeks, I decided to leave the background white.
=boribaby keeps inspiring me with her way of drawing horses, so I felt like drawing horses instead of ponies for once. I got a few more in the works, but knowing me, I'll probably never finish them and just leave them collecting dust in the corner of my desk. XD
Oh well, hope you like them, I sure enjoyed drawing them.

^^ Have you ever seen Medicine Hats? I love when they show them as mare & foal...
I think my favorite color on any horse is the mustang. Their Grullo colors with the zebra stripes are beautiful. Oh, and the ones that are blue roan with a black mane and tail, and have a chestnut face...

Yeah I've seen a medicine hat once. I even took a picture, but god knows where that is now. XD
Fun facts; the Swedish word for grullo is "black".
I like paint horses. I like how different they look. Palomino and buckskins are also favorites. I like it when horses have an unusual color. Like the cremello I painted a few years ago.

Really? How interesting, seeing that it means something else in spanish, but is spelled the same.
I'm the same way. Chesnuts and bays bore me. I'm more into roans and appaloosas. ^^

Ooh, me too! In my early teens, Andalusians were my favorite breed, and black ones even more.

^^ Yeah, many people think there are tons of them, not realizing that most of those are actually dark brown.

At the moment? I'm not sure. My favorite horse was an arabian. They sold him though... Now I ride a horse whose a cross breed between Icelandic horse and Arabian. He's a handful to ride, but he's really charming.
But I think paints are my favorite breed, even though they might technically not be a breed.

The Egyptian Arab has always been my fave, although the Saddlebred, Andalusian, and Paso Fino are close runners-up. ^^ That's such an interesting mix! I've always liked Fjords - they're so interesting-looking. And the Fallabellas... too cute. There are so many...
When I was a little girl, Palominos were my favorite, and then I found out that there were different types, since it was a color. Then I became obsessed with black horses when I started reading the Black Stallion books.
Actually, I think they DID make Paints a breed. But maybe I'm mistaken... I think the classification of Paint is a breed, and instead, they use tobiano and overo and whatnot for the colors...

Yeah I think Paints counts as a breed. When they have western riding contests around here, they classify it as a breed, so I guess it is.
When I think about it, I like horses too much to not like a breed. I think all are so cute. I don't think I've seen an ugly horse so far. But then again, I've been obsessed with horses since I was tiny. Some of my earliest drawings were of horses.
A friend of mine has two Fjords (and two Shetlands), and they are so cute. It's really hard to tell the difference between them for me. XD One of them is bigger than the other, so that's how I tell which one's which. And by their personalities.

I was the same way. All my favorite toys were horses, both realistic and MLP's. And I'm the same way - how can you not like a specific breed of horse? :]
Yeah, they all look alike. That's so cool that you know a couple of them! Yeah, I can imagine seeing a whole herd - it would be like seeing a herd of zebra!

Oh, but now I remember. Przewalzki horses (or however that's spelled) aren't that pretty. But I've never seen one in real life, so I might fall for them too if I saw one. But in pictures they don't look so good.

Haha, I don't blame them. Where they live, it's not about looks. But you're probably right - in person (or in horse, lol) they might be prettier. Actually, some Mustangs aren't that great-looking, either, because they've got so many different bloodlines in them.
