Description
This is my cosplay I wore for Uppcon. It's Sango from Inuyasha. I'm very happy with the result, and I even won second place in the Best Craft-category.

I made the whole costume myself. (only the underwear and socks are bought)
The body suit is black spandex, the red straps for the armor is also spandex.
The elbow, knee and shoulder armor is made of liquid polyester and painted with acrylics and lined with grey fabric.
The stomach armor is made of raincoat fabric, painted with acrylics and lined with grey fabric.
The "embroidery" is painted with fabrics paint on a piece of yellow fabric, then cut out and fastened in the spandex. After I did that, I realized that the paint was elastic when dried, so I will remake it and paint it directly on the spandex later on.
The little white button is sculpey, painted white.
The boots where made from a pair of boots that were cut off. Then I sewed a boot cover in faux leather and glued them to the original boot and wrapped red spandex around.
The boomerang was built in cardboard box that was later covered with liquid polyester and then painted. The straps are also faux leather.
