I have many cousins in Israel who don't speak english, so we talk together in hebrew (it makes learning very easy, and it's how I was able to recognize words in you video).

I love the Jewish religion. I was born Jewish. My parents are Jewish, their families are Jewish and my great grandmother's family was from Israel. Then I was told I was a fake jew because I don't know Hebrew! Now I'm entirely confused. Some in our family are Catholic but that won't hide their Jewish roots, so. Idk.

Not all Jews have to be religious and know Hebrew, especially since this language is gonna be of very little use for you assuming you're not moving to Israel anytime soon.

I know some Jews who don't even know what "Shema O' Israel" means or "Shabbat Shalom". I mean, I'm not super religious but now she's telling me that no good synagague will open it's doors to me! She's "the perfect Jew."

Haha my friend understood/could read most of this as well. A lot of it was mumbling, but most of it was understandable to her. xD She's working on figuring out the name to that other hebrew song. she's yet to ask her dad if he knows it.
