Yeah, I kinda such at keeping proportions q:

KenSkaii In reply to LazyMuFFin [2006-11-06 12:45:47 +0000 UTC]
maybe if you try to draw the first and last frames first, and other important frames and then fill in the inbetweens to keep the proportions constant. I can tell you just draw the first frame, and then the next, and the next, and the next, and so on.
you don't have to take my suggestion though.
sometimes just doing it this way can give a certain feel to it, but its still good to keep proportions properly so the things don't lose volume and weight.

my advice with 24 fps is don't bother. it's too much work and it doesn't realy pay off.

Now how can yoiu do animation that good and then praise shitty-looking pieces of work like Family Guy?

LazyMuFFin In reply to EggHeadCheesyBird [2006-11-01 12:26:55 +0000 UTC]
1. I dont watch family guy for the animation.
2. I dont think that the animation is that bad.

1. Well, when you compare to the godawful writing and voice-acting, the animation is the best thing in there.
2. It's robot-poo! That what is it is! The characters just go from boring pose to boring pose like machines. And the worst part is, it's not even CHEAP animation. It costs as much as anything more expressive...Bah! POOOPOOPOPPPPOO!!

But I DO laugh when I see it,
I also laugh when I see simpsons, southpark, arrested development, robotchicken so IM SORRY TO DISSAPOINT YOU OL' CHAP.

Oh, you know what's cool?
Put the frame rate to 23.96, and your voices won't go out of sync. You can set the quality of the sound to 48 kbps.
It works for me so far. :]

I mean, it's useful when you have a scene that becomes way too long. They can get out of sync most of the times, depending on how many voices you have going on in a scene. :[
