Just felt like making something simplistic. This took longer than I expected but i'm pretty happy with how this turned out, especially with Rarities mane and tailTime taken approximately 2 and a half hours

I don't thinl there's a vector of the original, or if there is then it'll be hard to find. The vectors of this i've seen have Celestia and/or Spike in them as well

Well give or take 10 minutes but 2 and a half hours seems kinda long when you consider that it's just fills and gradients.

It's no problem if you have, don't take me wrong, it's a great style, I was simply wondering if you thought of this yourself as well, cause that'd be kinda cool!

Well i'd turned a failed vector into something simplistic-ish because I didn't want to have put in all that effort and get nothing out of it. So I decided to actually make something that was simplistic rather than simplistic-ish

Only one thing. Rainbows mane is incorrectly coloured. The orange part should be in the middle of the top part.

I know the feel. Vectoring is hard work, even with this style. But it always tends to turn out pretty well.

It was mainly Rarities mane and tail that took up most of my time. Had to get the gradients just right so it looked like it was 3-D

I can't get gradients to work at all...
But I can see how that would take time.

Photoshop may not be able to create strokes but it's darn good at gradients

Ah, I use Inkscape, so, likely because of some bug, the gradients work out like they do.

Maybe but the group does promote and teach people how to vector which is pretty useful in most design jobs. Plus ads and other commercial types use the vectors of the group so I wouldn't say it's all bad
