Nah, not really. Never even played a Pokemon game. This is inspired by Smash Bros Brawl as there's a section in Subspace Missionary where Samus and Pikachu fight their way out of... somewhere

Oh lord, the 'chu. Man your anatomy has gotten so much better over the past few years! That probably sounds like a dumbass thing to say but I can tell where hip bones and ribs are now, the little details are all there. Looks great!

A Revy + Ginji action scene or something to that effect would be wicked (V3 DVD arrived last week). The Dark Tower episode had some of the best action scenes.
I've been thinking about doing some myself, but for now might just stick to portraits/action poses. I always try to cut corners when it comed to giving environments around characters detail and stuff. I'm lazy like that.

Samus' body has some great lines, her expression is ace (I could tell her eye was closed from the smooshing, though perhaps some lines to indicate her cheek was being pushed up to make her eye close would of helped), and her hair turned out great as well.
