Description …One day, the King invited Basilisk to join him for a hunt in the forest. Basilisk, being a huge fan of hunting, gladly accepted the invitation. The King, his guards, and Basilisk set out early in the morning, armed with their bows and arrows.
As they were walking through the dense forest, the King noticed a deer grazing a few meters away. Excited about the prospect of catching his prey, he aimed his bow and let loose an arrow. The arrow missed its mark, and the deer scampered away.
Basilisk couldn't help but laugh at the King's poor aim. “Well, that was a pathetic shot, Your Majesty. It's a good thing I'm here to guide you,” he said with a smile. The King was amused by Basilisk's comment and appreciated the candidness of his friend. They continued their quest, and suddenly, they came across a nest full of baby birds.
The King, being a decent chap, stopped in his tracks and declared that they won’t be killing any animals that day. Basilisk looked at him with a raised eyebrow and said, “Well, that's a bit of a bummer, old friend. I was hoping to work up an appetite before lunch.”
The King chuckled at Basilisk's comment and decided to change plans. They spent the day enjoying each other's company, telling stories, and making jokes.
From that day on, the King and Basilisk became inseparable. They went on many more hunts together, with Basilisk often offering his sarcastic commentary on the King's hunting skills. But it wasn't just about hunting. The two friends shared a bond that was strong enough to withstand anything.
Over time, the people of the kingdom realized that Basilisk wasn't the monster they had been led to believe. Instead, he was a loyal friend to the King and a protector of their land. They welcomed him into their community, and he became a beloved member of the kings court.
And so, the legend of Basilisk took on a new meaning. It was no longer a story of fear and horror, but of friendship and loyalty. The King and Basilisk were a true example of how friendship can transcend even the most seemingly insurmountable differences.
