This is outstanding. Even if this wasn't Marilyn Monroe I would still be amazed at the level of detail and realism in this. It's so detailed yet has a bit of the soft painting look inherent it. The necklace looks like it really is resting on top of her skin. I also like the eyes- many artists have trouble depicting the shadows in eyes (it's not just pure white) but you did a wonderful job here. I cannot imagine how many hours went into this painting.
Do you know or post on the forums at conceptart.org, by any chance? Your work would fit right in over there.
