Description
Note: roughly based off the Breez minifigure and bag art that is floating around, i know the minifigure has a chain, but i just gave her th 1.0 weapons instead. So, this was just a quick moc i made that's been together for a couple days. i used a glatorian neck to raise the head up, but it was floppy, so i used i rubber band to keep it still... so that's why its there.

NICE howd you connect the gray shield/armor part with that piece?

If we're referring to the back shield, that's most likely from either Brain Attack Stormer or Surge. If it's the chest piece, that's from Bulk 3.0.

I like it! It looks enough like the minifigure in its build, especially around the legs and torso, but still retains all the necessary poseability for a standard figure.
I really like how the old HF leg armor was included on the leg to make its shape, and the use of those lime-green feet. And the shoulder pads keep the bulk seen on the minifigure armor but don't restrict its movement, which I quite like.
I do wish the hands were the 2.0 versions, I think those would look more accurate to the figure seen in the trailers and be consistent with the previous Breez incarnations, but otherwise I think you've done a great job with this
Will you be doing any other Heroes in this style, by any chance?

unfortunately, i only have one silver 2.0/3.0 breast plate piece, so i will not be doing the rest :/

Aw darn.
If you were to, you could swap out the green parts for white to create a Stormer version, but some parts (like the feet) aren't available in white..
Ah well.Β

how r u able to put 1.0 leg armor? the new hf build system has no technic axles, only technic holes and ball joints.can u show the instructions of the legs, really love the design!

the lower legs are hero fsctory 1.0 leg/arm pieces

actually you are incorrect, those are not 1.0 hf limbs

nope, its a "mata hand", 2.0 bone with ball on one end and socket on the other, the 1.0 armor, a 2.0 small armor and the add on part on the front

By the way, I figured out how you could use a lego racers tiny turbo tire to straighten that neck instead of that unsightly yellow rubber band. Β

Cool design! I think she would be more accurate to the minifig design if her feet were smaller and she had jets of some kind on the back of her legs. But this is a nice design overall. Great proportions and lots of cool details like the antenna on her right shoulder.
Good work with the pose, too. It's a simple pose that makes it easy to see the details of the character from any angle, but dynamic enough that she looks relaxed rather than standing stiffly upright. I really ought to work on the poses I photograph my MOCs in, as I usually lean too far in one direction or the other and end up having to take twice as many photos β half in stiff, boring poses and half in over-the-top action poses.

i did try and add some jets, but they didnt work well, and ya the feet are a bit big, but i was just putting parts together and liked the shaping.

That looks impressive. I'm not sure if I'll get any of the IFB sets. But I'll at least get the minifigures off Bricklink once they come up. And some of the new parts look pretty interesting. My favorite of the new parts is the yellow 5-size armor piece from Evo XL Machine and Evo Walker.

Was starting to wonder what you were going to use it for lol, and I gotta say, the moc looks fantastic Gringat! Wonderful Job They look like they work better for posing on your moc more than on mine. Im curious though, did you purposely use 1.0 limbs, knowing that I used mata hands and 2.0 lower arm bones? or did you think i used the 1.0 limbs?

Lol-Pretzel In reply to lbpfan21 [2014-01-13 00:23:04 +0000 UTC]
I thought you used the 1.0 limbs.Β
Explains why I couldn't get the armour to fit at the back, at least. .-.

Lol-Pretzel In reply to lbpfan21 [2014-01-13 17:42:49 +0000 UTC]
Nah, I think I understand it now. The hf limb and the hand aren't actually connected, are they? That HF armour piece has a structural role.
π: 0 β©: 1
lbpfan21 In reply to Lol-Pretzel [2014-01-13 21:08:54 +0000 UTC]
Correct, they aren't connected. The hand is connected with the socket end facing out. The socket on the bone is slid underneath the other end of the hand and armor is added to the back to keep it there. Then you stick on a foot... the armor on the front of the leg is connected with one peg in the axle spot on the hand and the other peg resting in the little hole in the bone socket

lbpfan21 In reply to lbpfan21 [2014-01-13 01:07:52 +0000 UTC]
actually, if you would have done it theΒ way i did, you wouldn't have been able to add the spikes on the side of the feet

lbpfan21 In reply to lbpfan21 [2013-11-21 21:19:02 +0000 UTC]
a mata foot with a small hf armor connected to it with an exo force robot hand works well to, just the point on the hf armor has to be pointed towards the foot socket
