This was interesting, I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a background so I stumbled through it. I do like what I stumbled on to though. Anyway, this is also one of my favorite anime series. It's 13 episodes long, it has a ton of fan service (which I could live without...honestly), weird family dynamics *cough*incest*cough* (which I can also live without) but the feelings it pulls out in just a short amount of episodes were awesome. It's in my top 3 for sure.I also want to thank for all the flat color he laid out.
This will a full color 17x11 print sold at anime conventions throughout the united states.
Drawing took about 15 minutes
Line work took about 1 hour and 33 minutes
Painting took about 3 hours and 4 minutes.

You should read the manga! It's amazing and pretty much goes with anime to a degree. A few things are different. But it keeps going. Loooong after the anime ends. The art is rough in the beginning, but it gets better as it goes along.
This is really awesome by the way! Andone of my most favorite anime as well. I think thhy need a lot more episodes. XD

I'm going to sound like a jerk, but the manga is highly overrated. Its like Nascar: it takes too long to get to the finish line, and there are a lot of car wrecks.
If you've watched the anime, you can almost skip the first third of the manga entirely, and you should because even people who like it agree that the art is an eyesore in the first couple issues. The latter half on the other hand has better art, but keeps trying to find ways of going more and more over the top (in terms of gore, misery, scale, and mad science). Also, the fetishes will creep you out.
Lastly, the characters are less likeable in general so the morality appears more gray. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work. I could go into detail, but I risk spoiling stuff from both the manga AND the anime. But I personally fell in love with the characters first story second, so this makes the manga nearly unreadable.
