Yasuke (c. 1556-?) was a black (African) retainer who for a short time was in the service of the Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga. The name "Yasuke" (ๅฝไป) was given to him after he took service with Nobunaga; his original name is not recorded, but in 2013 it was concluded that Yasuke was a Makua named Yasufe.
