Description
This is the product of coffee + an energy drink. It was also inspired by my mom asking why everything always drips down. she asked me what the significance of the drips meant.. I didn't really have an answer, but then I decided to try making it drip upwards... this is the result.
I took a picture of my own eyes for reference.

I'm curious, how did you get the blue drips to show up over the purplish background?

with watercolors(at least the kind that I have) the color gets picked up again when it gets wet so you start by painting it purple and letting it dry then dripping a lot of blue paint and water over it by holding the paper up to let it drip. i was just experimenting.. haha

Hmm. It must be the kind of paint I'm using. I don't think I could ever get a blue like that to show up over a purple, especially not in a drip.

mine are really generic watercolors (and probably really cheap too) There's no brand name on them... try letting some watercolor dry then dripping some water on it and using a towel to take some color off... that's kind of how it works

well thank you!
Me too, I actually used a waxy colored pencil before painting so that the water wouldn't soak into it.

I have some watercolor paint but I haven't wanted to try because I get frustrated when the paper curls up. Stuff like this makes me want to dust them off though. I'll keep that wax pencil thing in mind, thanks.

You're welcome.
I usually use bristol paper, it's kind of expensive, but doesn't curl that much and its also really nice for pencil/everything else but paint.
I used to hate watercolor, but it's alright now. haha
