Kinda based on real life events, but she did burn down an entire forest as well you know
Finished personal art featuring Laura's mate Skibane
The idea was that despite Skibane being an evil Magic dragon, he still has the ability to heal, and heals Laura's anger and guilt with a calming spell, giving her another chance for peace, redemption.
Also Skibane's chest markings glow when he uses his magic~

Amazing piece! And yes, my eyes were drawn upwards as well to notice the "revelation". Also like the use of symmetry to emphasize the emotional effect here.

I really like how this picture slowly draws your eyes upward until you see Skibane. I had no idea what was behind Laura at first as I was focused on her, but my eyes were drawn up and that's when I saw his head...sort of a dramatic reveal, lol!

Thank you! And yes that's the idea, Skibane is pretty huge compared to Laura (He's 19ft, Laura is 16) so here he's almost like her shadow.
