Description
Context: The Addams Family is getting robbed by a woman named Mrs. Quaint(center) after turning their house into a bed-and-breakfast(don’t ask). Mrs. Quaint is holding the two Addams children, macabre enthusiast and- as of recently- junior bodybuilder Wednesday(left) and amateur mad scientist Pugsley(right), captive... and has grabbed Wednesday by her braids.

Mrs. Quaint: “Okay, now don’t anybody move or I’ll shoot!”

Gomez: “Bad move, old girl! The last person to grab Wednesday’s braids was that crook, the late Grabsey McBill!”

Morticia: “He was such a nice man...”

Mrs. Quaint: “...was? ...what did you do to him...?”

Pugsley: “You don’t wanna know...”

Wednesday: “Mrs. Quaint, words cannot describe the fury I feel right now. You have taken our hospitality for granted, attempted to rob us, and even held us at gunpoint. If you had stopped there, we would have just been fine. We would have gone on fine, because we always survive. Poison us, strangle us, break our bones - we will come back for more. Why? Because we like it, of course. However, you have made one fatal mistake... you messed wih my braids. This is an action that I deem unforgivable. A line has been drawn, and you have crossed it. I have seen evil, horror, and the unholy maggots which feast in the dark recesses of the human soul, but until today, I had never seen you. Our family motto is ‘we gladly feast on those who would subdue us’, but you have proven so vile that not even we would dine upon your rotten flesh. I was merely going to ‘rough you up’ and turn you into the police, but it has become evidently clear that I will have to take matters into my own hands...”

Mrs. Quaint: *gulps* “So you’re gonna kill me?”

Wednesday: “Of course not. For me and my grand physique, that would be too easy. Besides, you’d have to suffer first. No, we are first going to play a game.”

Mrs. Quaint: “Oh, good, a game, a game, I do love a good game... what game is it?”

Wednesday: “It’s called...” *unrolls sleeve and sneers* “...‘Is There a God?’”

So... yeah. In celebration of Halloween and the upcoming Addams Family movie, enjoy this muscle edit of Wednesday from the 1992 animated version. I’m gonna be honest... this is my favorite version of the character. Sure, the original 1960s version is cute and sweet, and the 1991 film version is delightfully psychotic and has some great lines, but this version balances between both extremes to create a happy medium. This is why this version of Wednesday is my favorite version of the creepiest, kookiest, spookiest, most mysterious Addams that ever... hey, watch where you’re going, missy!

Wednesday: “Sorry, sir.” *turns to Morticia* “Mother, may I borrow the iron maiden?”

Morticia: “Of course, dear.”

Wednesday: “Thank you.” *runs to the torture room holding a badly bruised Mrs. Quaint with one hand*

Okay... speaking of which, not only was the initial context from the episode I got this image from(Dead and Breakfast), but so was every line before Wednesday spoke and all the lines in the... “epilogue” not directed toward me(although what actually happened was certainly different). In addition, a lot of Wednesday’s lines were lifted straight from the first two live action movies(although only one of them was actually made by Wednesday).
