I volunteer for Carolina Pet Rescue cpr-nc.org/ as the Pet Promotion Specialist which means I take pictures of the adoptable animals that come into the rescue and put them up on the internet so the animals can get adopted!Here's a photo I took of one of the ferrets at the rescue.
Dogs and cats aren't the only animals that get abandoned, abused or dumped in shelters. There are plenty of homeless rodents, birds, reptiles, and exotics in shelters and foster homes! So next time you're looking to get a pet of any type, save a life and choose rescue!
