Dogs and cats aren't the only animals that get abandoned, abused or dumped in shelters. There are plenty of homeless rodents, birds, reptiles, and exotics in shelters and foster homes! So next time you're looking to get a pet of any type, save a life and choose rescue! If you live in the US or Canada, available pets in your area can be found by searching Petfinder.com

Aawwwwww, if only i was there, i'd take that little critter in a jiffy and give it a good home. Have 9 critters already but one more won't hurt.

Luckily this little guy found a home! But there are lots more out there that need homes! It seems like you've got your hands full with your 9 pets though!

I think I just fell in love. He his adorable.
I just got a Leopard Gecko as a birthday gift from my fiance and I could never imagine abandoning her. I don't know how people can do such things.
