They say when a dog is content he will go to sleep. Maybe he's not bored but happy to be along for the ride? I love the pose. So much like a person.

Bernard just loves to go for rides.
I have tried several times to get a photo of him like this but anytime I had a chance he would pull his leg off the arm rest before I could snap a picture. He would then sit there almost looking like he was laughing.

Yeah, that happens to my dad a lot, too. He's a pretty good photographer as well, but he mostly does birds and butterflies. He's always annoyed when he sees a hawk overhead and he doesn't have his camera.

I share his pain. I can't even count the time when I have had a wonderful shot in front of me, but no camera. If I have my camera they are few and far between.
