I think Rodan's the better of the two flicks, although Gargantuas definitely has more action. When you were watching the Japanese version (if you did) did you think the picture seemed kinda squished? It seemed that way to me. The dubbing for Gargantuas really isn't that bad either, just like Invasion of Astro Monster. I hope you like Rodan; it kinda has a horror vibe to it.

i actually bought the dvd to see how rodan was treated in the his first movie, and also get to see meganulon treatment..
i think ill like Rodan. i did watch the first 20 min, it didnt feel like it was part of the toho godzilla universe, which is good...
