You say that they're both ornithosichian dinosaurs. Do you think Anguirus could be a ceratopsid too or is it more of a Thyreophoran? Also would that make Baragon's "ears" more like frills?

ya know, ive always theorized the frill-ear thing.the way i see it,the frill had shortened, slackened, and separated throughout Baragons existence, possibly to make subterranean activity easier.the "ears",ive noticed, pop up either when in combat or surprised and act as the popular frill-shield to protect his neck area.

I agree. The frill became more and more flexible for subterranean movement and yet retained its solidity and density.

A Thyreophoran is any member of the Ankylosaur, Notosaur or Stegosaur family.

bit hard to say, some people say he is actually an ankylosaur, but some say he is a fictitious prehistoric creature like the Rhedosaurus.

Well sure in Godzilla proper, but I mean for your versions? Are they both meant to be ceratopsian or is Anguirus a Thyreophoran or some other fictional type of ornithosichian? Just out of curiosity

sorry, get what you mean. Best way to describe it is a fictitious ceratopsid with some thyreophoran features.

did you intentionally design them to look like the same species cuz that is what it looks like.

nah. if you look at the final versions, theyre very different, but if you classify them as dinosaurs they fall in the same group - ornithischians.
