I was looking through my old photos when I came across this photo I took 1 1/2 years ago. I believe it is some sort of Caterpillar, but I may be wrong.Related content

Amazing shot. Caterpillars can often be very interesting subjects, this one in particular looks fascinating. Love the colors.

you know what i like most about this? the fact that it's up the other way to what you'd expect. colours, dof and presentation are great, as is the focus.. but the upside down caterpillar, i think that's cute!

very nice macro, the colors look great and the framing does a wonderfull job, the only things i have to comment is that the right side is out of focus, and it would of looked great if the upper part of the leaf wasn't cut, but if you said it is taken a long time ago i don't think you where thinking of details.

It's amazing, these creeps usually freak me out, but this one looks so fluffy, soft, fat and cuute lol.

That's a great photo! The way you've cropped it is fantastic, and it really helps attract your eye to the caterpillar itself.
About the only suggestion I'd make for next time you'd shooting something like this would be to choose a slightly higher f stop, so that whole caterpillar is in focus, and not just the front half. (I've made similar mistakes myself

Holy crap, that is awesome! The colours are amazing, the orange parts look like little lights, the depth of field is great and you cropped it perfectly. It would be a crime to not fav this.
