168 favs on a non-DD image is pretty good in my books Especially no other of my photos have even remotely close to that figure.

I really love this setting as it is both breathtaking and also that you did a good job of bringing us there and making it seem so real. The colors are what grab me and the contrast of the background and sky, to the train, and then the ground. The sky has the clouds (texture, smooth and soothing) and also the greens and blues, which also bring about the peaceful mood. Then it leads to the train which is red and white-ish that complements the background. Finally the repetiton of the ground with rocks and patterns go hand-in-hand to make an awesome photo. Just be careful about the flash... (yes, it was needed, but it distract on the side of the bus)

Fantastic photo, I love the super rich colours in this recent series. I think some of the post work on this might have been a little harsh, you've got a bit of a halo showing up around the front end of the train.

It's also nice to see some new photos from you, I think it's been a while.

ldo In reply to bigsdawg [2006-09-24 14:00:46 +0000 UTC]

About the halo, couldn't really be bothered spending time to remove it. Thanks for the comments
