I might have got a bit closer and lower to have the ruin take up more of the frame, but this is a really good shot anyway.
Did you have a 4WD in that area? Did you drive the whole Oodnadatta track?

Yeah, we drove the whole Oodnadatta track... in a bus. It was on a school excursion last year.

Very desolate. It brings to mind the word sanctuary, especially because of the absence of anything in the rolling desert behind it. Very creepy too though... I wouldn't want to go in there at night. >_>
