The colors makes kind of reminds me of the Jumping Flash robot rabbit from the old PS1 game of the same name.

At first my thoughts were.. its a mix up of something from starship troopers and buzz lightyear. Still cool looking though.. seriously. And spiders scare me.

This is "Mike's" second iteration - the first version's here .
Of course, in-between were lots and lots of rejected sketches and utter bombs that didn't go anywhere. Just designs that were impractical.
I always like to think about how my robots are able to maintain balance and run around and pick up stuff -- actually, Mike's a cyborg, not a robot.
After the accident, his brain and spinal cord were transplanted into a container that's under that giant screw-head between his "ears".
