Description Perhaps this thing is some kind of ancient Magnemite?

Oerstone is named after the Oersted, the CGS unit for magnetic field strength. Now you know!

Oerstone (Oersted + Stone)
Lodestone PKMN
Rock/Electric
Magnet Pull, Lightningrod
3'11"
333.4 lbs
"It manipulates rocks through some mysterious force. When it's angry, it fires lightning in random directions."
"Its pieces gyrate wildly in orbit. It would cause an explosion if two of its prongs hit each other."

HP: 58
Attack: 75
Defense: 135
Sp. Atk: 82
Sp. Def: 75
Speed: 30
Total: 455

Yeah, it's got great Defense, but can it survive an Earthquake? That...I doubt.

It has two new moves: Geo Volt (a fairly weak Electric-type Special attack with 50 base damage......but it can hit Ground-types! ) and Electro Bola (an Electric-type version of Grass Knot).

By leveling up, Oerstone can learn Tackle, Harden, Rock Throw, Rapid Spin, Spark, Magnitude, Magnet Bomb, Gravity, Rock Blast, Selfdestruct, Electro Bola, Geo Volt, Magnet Rise, Stealth Rock, Thunderbolt, Gyro Ball, Explosion, and Stone Edge.

Interesting concept and type. I was thinking of another name for it "Magnorec (Magnetic-ore)" . Ether way we can call this the "Electric Fossil Pokemon" The design is good but still could be refined. Ether way keep up the work and this can be a really great pokemon.

Looks like a common ancestor of a lot of Mineral Group Pokemon.

But the question is-
Will it blend?

Electro Bola. I like the name and the move's conception!
This concept of "ancient magnet" remind me a little of Nosepass and Protobass, but more like Magnemites and more electric!
I just don't see why the Sp. status need to be equal. And too bad that have such low HP. =/

Thanks! Hmm, then how would you arrange the stats?

I think, being a rock type, like you said, conceive to it a great Defense, but, as a Eletric type, the Sp. Attack should be a little higher than Sp. Defense (so this status should decrease to makr this possible)
And the HP it's too low, since it's a only-one state PokΓ©mon, maybe 5 or 10 points more of HP would be okay.

But it's just my point of view. I'm not so usual of making Status to PokΓ©s, so I'm sorry for any mistake that I've said.

Cool! I thought this was for Darksilvania's contest at first. I also like those attack ideas, very nice!

Go see 's journal. It's about evolving a pokemon with a fossil, and since Dark is quite well known for his fakemon drawings, lots of people are entering.
