I do actually quite like this as I know how tricky it is to work with oil paints. I do also like all the small details like the snine on the black string and water ripples. Also, do the objects represent/mean anything? e.g the little skull?

Yes, the lures are weighing her down to the bottom, like her memories. The skull represents the little death of a relationship. It's importance growing smaller (as the skull is tiny), but still holding her down as she tries to get over it. Become clean (i.e. the bathtub) and move on, new and refreshed.
