Description
"I startle when I catch someone staring back at me from only a few inches away and then I realize it's my own face reflecting back in the glass... no wonder everyone is keeping a safe distance from me."--Suzanne Collins, "Hunger Games"
My first real attempt at digital painting (blending, etc.) -- I hope I get a LOT better. I got impatient during a lot of this, and you can tell. : )

did you use a reference? the subtle things like the lighting at the tips of the fingers help to give the image more depth. nice work

Thanks!! .. her right hand gave me fits. I finally made my Mr. stand outside a patio door* so I could draw his hand. It was dark, so that's where the light comes from.
*If my neighbors thought I was weird before, now they're pretty sure. He stood outside yelling "AM I MAKING A GOOD KATNISS!?"
