This CS Symprite's theme are the 'Space Pirate' they have octopus hair trait. The pattern on the body I'm drawing to make them resemble the treasure map. Since they seem to have a big X scar on their chest. I think...hey! Why not making that as the 'X' marking where it locate the treasure? The customer likes that very much so we keep it. I also suggest for him to have the golden teeth as some pirates does have

Character were requested to have dark color mixing with vividly colorful gradient. It wouldn't be possible with only me, my customer's helped suggest more to make them blending better

The Clothing is somewhat mixing between me and her. When I'm looking at her rought sketches I saw the character having a cape. I suggested that it would be cooler if it is a coat that acting as a cape then we go with that route.

at frist the sketch having belt on the hips but I think putting them separately on the chest and leg is better since they have knife and the long binocular. Since knife is important to uses, Character must having access better so I put it on that side for right hand to grab easily. Meanwhile the binocular no need to get easy access that's why I choose to put on the other leg.
