Description
First time ever trying to make pixel art.Are there any pixel pros out there that can give me some advice or tips?

Not really a pixel pro but i find your art good. A tip is i see some spots, (bottom of the scarf and a few spots on the foot) where the line or color comes out. its really important to always zoom in and check and remove anything sticking out or any bumpy lines, even if you are lazy. Other than that this pixel art is good and the eyes are fairly well made. Also, make sure you dont make the lines too thin if its in a shadowy area. just looks strange. One more thing. the lighting is very confusing. theres light on the bottom of the scarf but on the same side the face is shaded. make sure to pick a light source or else itll just look weird. i cant tell if the light is coming from above, front, or right because of the shading. Also, side note. Simple characters look good with simple backgrounds. never try to put a very complicated and complex character in front of a few lines of color. you did good on this area, because both the background and character are simple designs.
