Prints and other products available in my Society6 shopSo when I said I was practicing digital painting, this is what I was doing.
I'd just started watching Sherlock a couple months ago. I can't even....meh. I don't know what to say now.

"First time painting realism"? Really? This is great for a beginner! People could argue it's mostly silhouette but I think it's great! Just curious, how did you create the background?

The background process consists a lot of painting in stars (or spots), duplicating them, and applying a motion blur filter on the duplicated layer. It's fairly simple.
