This is awesome. It's a building I know (from seen it in many other images), but I've never seen it this way. Amazing work!

I have a weakness for vertical photos. lol. And the colours attract me more as well. ^.^ i like the other one, but not quite as much as this one. But i totally see where others would like the other one more.

You take a series of really awesome pictures, and the cropting after stitching everything togehter is wonderful. ^.^

OH! and the sky is simply stunning with how the clouds are just kind of 'rippling' above the lighted opera house.

Thanks! Yeah when you take three exposures and put them together you end up seeing more than you would if you just took one exposure. If you wanna give it a shot you might wanna check out these links:

oh! now i'm super stoked to try it out. it doesn't seem all too hard. i think i'll be able to manage it. it'll take LOTS of practice on my part, but i'm anxious to learn it. ^.^ i probably won't master it, but i'm going to give it a go. ^.^

I was actually intimidated at first but its pretty cool once you get the hang of it. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Razoress In reply to leafinsectman [2008-11-10 05:19:08 +0000 UTC]

okay. My only concern is figuring out how to actually do it. I think i'll be able to handle it okay. i was experimenting with it today... Its different, but i think i can do it.

Hey at least you actually make contact with other humans These last couple of weeks I've only left the house between the hours of 2-6am, how creepy is that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Razoress In reply to leafinsectman [2008-11-11 14:45:54 +0000 UTC]

my final answer is extra creepy. haha.

Why do you only leave at those hours? haha.

leafinsectman In reply to Razoress [2008-11-11 20:30:05 +0000 UTC]

Hehehe I prefer nighttime or sunrise/sunset photos and during the day I don't really feel like shooting anything. I might get in touch with some models though and start shooting people photos since I haven't done them much so I guess that'll be during the day. I do go out during the day but its usually because I need to do something but it feels like I've been stuck in the house a lot lately

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Razoress In reply to leafinsectman [2008-11-11 22:30:29 +0000 UTC]

i will say... people photos can be hard.. .expecially with inexperienced models... lol... you have to show them, or descriptively tell them what you want them to do. Or they are lost, and your pictures all look the same, because they don't know what to do. lol.

but yeah. i only konw that... because i had to take pictures of our whole senior class for the yearbook.. oh my goodness... haha. that was tiring... >.<

oh... and, i dunno if this applys to other photographers.. but when i get this desire to go take some cute pictures of little kids... i can't do it at a public playground. i feel like other people are judging me... and think i'm stalking their little kids... haha. i'm not a pedifile.. but i couldsee how that would be creepy... hehe.

meheh... i like my house. its nice nad cozy, and safe... but you should probably leave your house if your only seeing the world recently at 2-6 am. haha.

Yeah I should really do that and get out. I've just been too busy these days. I've been working on my business card design for a couple of days now, I can't decide on which one to go with plus the printer dudes we used at my old job hasn't been replying to emails I'm looking into getting a dedicated infra red camera, that should motivate me to go out more

Razoress In reply to leafinsectman [2008-11-12 06:01:56 +0000 UTC]

oh cool! they look sharp! haha. i haven't heard any of my friends talking about them... because i'm pretty sure non of them care to have an infrared camera, but they do look pretty cool. So, that ought to be super fun to play around with.
