If God came and told me I could have any wish, I would want to live in a place like the Shire, a place that is beautiful and peaceful. Of course, my conscience would force me to make a wish that helps other people so I guess I wouldn't end up living in the Shire.
Point is, I want to live in the Shire (Except with other humans, otherwise the buildings will be to a scale where's I'll have to stoop all the time, forget about using a bed.)

Gorgeous! I feel the same way when reading about the Shire. Tolkien's descriptions of the scenery were peerless; one could believe that he really had wandered the green hills of the Westfarthing, toured Tuckborough's Great Smials as a guest of the Thain, passed through Bywater into Hobbiton, and stayed for dinner with Bilbo at Bag End.
